Greetings from Parkside Elementary School!
Parkside has an enrollment of approximately 375 students in grades pre-kindergarten through grade 5. As with any organization, great staff makes the difference for our students. Our staff is committed to working towards the District goals to improve instructional practices and to develop and implement intervention systems to assure that all students achieve academically. Our teacher inservice times throughout the school year focus on these two critical issues.
We are fortunate to have a PTO that has been extremely supportive of our school. Through one major fund raiser a year, they have been able to support ten to fifteen projects per year and also assist with special events such as our yearly Open House. Without their assistance, many activities could not be held and numerous purchases to support student learning would not happen. PTO meetings are generally the first Monday of the month at 7:00pm in our Parkside LMC. Meetings are open to any parent to attend and hopefully get involved with the activities of the group.
