On behalf of the Monroe School Nutrition Services Department, I would like to welcome you to the new food service link.

We have changed the name of the Food Service Department to Nutrition Services to reflect our focus on providing healthy nutritious meals.

In the very near future the Nutrition Services link will provide monthly nutrition services department news, nutrition information and Nutrition Committee information.

The school nutrition department is going green; we have eliminated the use of styrofoam trays and plastic forks and are returning to reusable trays and silverware.  We would also like to offer, in the future, a second entrée choice in the elementary menus. To test the feasibility of offering the second choice, we will offer this second choice on Wednesdays only during September and October.

The Nutrition Services Department looks forward to the new school year with optimism and excitement. We will keep the community updated on monthly activities in the department.
