The School District of Monroe is located in the rolling hills of southern Wisconsin and is in close proximity to Madison, Janesville, and Beloit. Monroe is known for its historic downtown square, friendly people, and festivals and events that celebrate the culture and arts of the area.
The School District of Monroe serves approximately 2,400 students in grades 4K-12. The District is home to three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Monroe's schools are known for exceptional academic services, award-winning programs, and championship athletics. The School District of Monroe earned an "Exceeds Expectations" grade on the most recent Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction report card.
