School & Community Partnerships
The School District of Monroe values partnerships with our community agencies and businesses because the educators of this organization recognize the critical role that our schools serve in the community. Not only is the District charged with educating the youth of the Monroe area, but our schools also have a responsibility to serve the local businesses. This work is imperative as the students of today will soon become the workforce of tomorrow. It is in best interest of all stakeholders to work collaboratively to contribute toward a vibrant and successful local economy. If we are to hope for a successful future, we must first start by ensuring that our students are properly trained and connected to a variety opportunities in Monroe and Green County. This is a goal that the District is committed to achieving.
