MHS Day of Service is an annual event where 650 students and all the staff at MHS emerge into Monroe to give back to their community for what Monroe has given them. Since 2013, students and staff at MHS have volunteered over 20,000 hours of time to the Monroe Community through Day of Service. Students and staff engage in activities such as cleaning, mulching, garbage pick-up and painting. The annual day of giving back to Monroe has become a favorite for staff and students.
