Pit orchestra starts the December before the musical and has a two hour rehearsal one night a week leading up to the musical. The two weeks prior to the musical rehearsals are held every afternoon from 4-6 pm. 

Many graduates of the MHS band program reflect fondly on their time spent in pit orchestra for the school musical. All band students have the opportunity to participate in this valuable experience. Pit orchestra comes with the musical challenge of performing with live vocalists and requires a certain level of excellence.

How to become involved / join: You must be involved in MHS Concert Band or Wind Ensemble to audition. Auditions are held the December prior to the musical. For more information contact TBD.
