| On Saturday, August 31st, Monroe hosted a volleyball tournament consisting of six teams. Watertown Luther Prep went undefeated for the day and took first place and Mount Horeb took second place. It was a great day of volleyball for all teams! |

Volleyball @ Beloit Turner 9-5-24 Monroe Varsity Volleyball battled a tough Beloit Turner team in a close match on September 5; unfortunately, coming up short with scores of 21-25, 19-25, and 26-28. The team came ready to compete and plan to bring that same energy and grit to their next tournament in Brodhead on September 7! The JV team fell short in their match and JV2 got the win! |

Brodhead Varsity Invite 9-7-24 Monroe Volleyball battled at the Brodhead Invitational on Saturday, September 7 to a 2-2 record in pool play; which was good for a tie for 2nd in our pool. The team then finished with a runner-up place in the silver bracket finishing 3-3 for the day!

Evansville 9-10-24 Monroe Volleyball toughed it out against Evansville on Tuesday, September 10, in a non-conference matchup. The team did a fantastic job of making in game adjustments and controlling the aspects of the game that we are able to. We look forward to starting conference play on Thursday at East Troy.

East Troy 9-12-24 Monroe Volleyball started conference play at East Troy on Thursday, September 12 against the defending conference champions from last year. The team competed hard all three sets tonight, never backing down.

vs Whitewater 10-3-24 Monroe won a 5 set thriller against Whitewater on October 3 on Senior night. Monroe won sets one and two, 25-18 and 25-22. Whitewater won the third and fourth sets 22-25 and 16-25. Junior Mya Wild went to the service line down 9-13 in the 5th set. She scored the first point off a Whitewater mishandle. She then scored 2 aces and had a setter dump kill to tie it up at 13-13. Off a Whitewater time out, Mya scored another ace to make the score 14-13. Olivia Feller finished out the match with a kill and assist from Mya Wild to close out the 5th set for the win, 15-13!
We honored 9 seniors tonight as well.
