Dear Students and Families, 

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! “Parkside, A GREAT place to hang your hat!” will be our theme for the school year! The students can look forward to earning Cowboy Cash coins for following the Parkside Promise as we work toward our building wide celebration goals as well as an opportunity to be selected as the Best in the West in their classroom each week!

As outlined in our Mission Statement, “Empowering a community of confident and compassionate learners.” - We are committed to supporting all of our learners to meet rigorous academic standards and fully develop their social and emotional competence. We accomplish this by focusing on great teaching and learning, which emphasizes the development of literacy and mathematical thinking to ensure access to learning in all content areas.  

It is also our desire to partner with our families and the community so that we may strive for continuous improvement. With that in mind, you are invited to be an active participant at Parkside Elementary School. Whether you are a classroom volunteer, a member of the PTO, or a special event participant, you are encouraged to be involved! Research on schools clearly demonstrates that parent participation in their child’s school coincides with a greater likelihood of academic success for their child.
