Message from the MMS Athletic Director

At Monroe Middle School, we encourage all students to take part in after-school activities.  If your son/daughter is interested in being involved in a sport. a club, or organization at MMS,  tell them to give it a try!  The middle-level philosophy for activities is to provide opportunities for all students to be involved in school-related activities to demonstrate their talents, skills, and abilities.  

It is important to remember that being involved in an after school activity is a privilege, not a right.  Students must demonstrate respect for their coaches/advisors at all times and remember that they are representing MMS.  Students will be expected to maintain passing grades and they will be held to a higher standard for behavior than students who are not involved in after-school activities.
