A college representative will be here to meet with any students interested in their school during PM flex for the following colleges:

Bowling Team Meeting-Saturday, October 10-Leisure Lanes-9:00 am

Anyone interested in joining the MHS Bowling Team, please plan on attending the Bowling Team Meeting on Saturday, October 10 at 9:00 am at Leisure Lanes Bowling Alley. Please contact Brittany Svendsen, bowling coach, at brittanysvendsen@monroe.k12.wi.us with any questions.


Any Boys or Girls interested or planning on wrestling this coming winter season, please sign-up on the "boys" sheet or the "girls" sheet posted outside room 113 "Trades Construction" Lab or stop in and see Coach Witt if you have questions.  Please grab the information sheet that is in the folder as well.


Join Junior Optimists! 

We are a club that volunteers in the community and does service projects. Volunteering is good for your soul and the community. It also helps when you need to apply for scholarships as a senior. You should join!

We meet every other Wednesday! Our next meeting will be PM flex on Wednesday, October 14. Go team!


Seniors and Parents - Financial Aid Meeting Info -

Below you will find information about our upcoming Financial Aid Meeting. This meeting is important for Senior students and their parents to attend in order to learn about grants, loans and tips for completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  Please put this in your calendar!

Financial Aid Meeting

When: Wednesday, October 14th 

Time: 5:30-6:30pm

Location: MHS PAC


Attention Juniors - PSAT Information - 

The PSAT will be given Tuesday, October 13th.  This exam is the qualifying exam for the National Merit Scholarship Program and also good practice for standardized exams you will take this school year.  The exam costs $18.  Students must have a cash or check payment with them in order to sign up for this exam.  The sign up is located in Student Services.  Deadline to sign up is Monday, October 5th at 3:30.

Interested in joining Basketball Cheerleading? 

There will be a mandatory meeting for all students interested in joining Basketball Cheer on Thursday, October 22nd, from 6-7pm in the M-Room. All current MHS students are welcome.

Then, the Forensics is the place for you! Forensics is competitive public speaking, acting, and reading where you can talk about any topic ranging from The Significance of Tung Tung Tung Sahur all the way to The Psychological Consequences of Chernobyl! Do you want to perform your favorite comedy sketch? Act with a group of friends? Try out your best radio voice? Read your own poetry? There is a category and topic for everyone here! 

If this piques your interest, be sure to sign up for our Forensics Kick-Off + Interest Meeting on Tuesday, October 6th AM or PM Flex with Ms. Schultz (Room 127).


FCCLA students are selling homemade caramel apples!  Apples will be dipped during the week of Oct 12th. Then you can pick yours up after school from the FCS room.
