School District of Monroe

Student Senate is the representative body of the student population. It is a collective voice to express opinions and or concerns that are added to meeting agendas, where either the principal or associate principal attend. Agendas are developed and brought forth by representatives of each grade. Six Student Senate members from each grade are elected by their classmates. Anyone can run. You must submit papers in the Spring prior to the Spring election.

We help plan and organize the following events:

• Homecoming
• Fall and Spring Blood Drives
• Winter Week
• Valentines Day Candy Grams
• Day of Service

Meetings: First and Third Tuesday of every month before school
